Nestle’s Very Best in Youth contest recognizes young people with big dreams to change the world and create great things in their communities. Nestle will donate $1000 to the charity of the winners’ choice as well as pay for a fun-filled weekend trip to Los Angeles for the awards ceremony. Applications are due November 8, 2012 and include essay questions, two letters of recommendations, school transcripts and parent/legal guardian consent form.
Even if you don’t win an award or you don’t get your application in on time, you can still apply for up to $1000 grant for your favorite charity:
All eligible applicants of the Nestlé Very Best In Youth contest are automatically members of the Nestlé Very Best In Youth Foundation. Members up to the age of 22 can apply to enhance their community service projects through grants up to $1,000.
Grant applications are reviewed at least once a year and selected by a committee of advisory board members made up of Nestlé Very Best In Youth past and current winners and Nestlé executives.
