I have family in Boise and when Boise State pulled out two trick plays at the 2007 Tostito’s Fiesta Bowl to upset Oklahoma, the Broncos became all the rage at our house. In 2009 we visited the college but we really only made it to Smurf Field (above — and no, we didn’t know the couple getting married). Here is a chance to visit the campus and see what the Engineering School has to offer.
E-Girls is a free overnight program for girls in grades 9, 10, &11 at Boise State University. E-Girls on June 7-8, 2013 will feature workshops lead by Society of Women Engineer members and college students. Girls will be introduced to a variety of fun science fields through hands-on activities. Yep, its free (of course you have to get yourself to Boise).
