Aspirations in Computing Awards for Girls Applications due October 31, 2013

Aspirations in Computing Awards are a program of the National Center for Women in Information Technology. These awards are meant to encourage young women who have an interest and aptitude in computing. Local and national winners receive recognition and prizes but more importantly they make close connections with industry professionals who will encourage them and support them in their future goals.

Applications are due October 31, 2013. Students will need their parents to register online and a recommendation from a mentor.

The NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing honors young women who are active and interested in computing and technology, and encourages them to pursue their passions. Award recipients receive cool prizes and gadgets, as well as access to scholarships, internships, and a community of like-minded, technical young women. Girls at all levels are encouraged to apply: we recognize aspirations as well as accomplishments!
