Registration is open for this year’s Oregon Game Project Challenge. Teams of 3-7 middle and high school students build a game based around a yearly theme using whatever platform they choose, usually one of the free, online platforms such as Scratch, Gamemaker, Unity3D or using HTML5. This year’s theme is Internal Obstacles, the challenge is to design a game that explores obstacles within ourselves and how we overcome them.
Coaches register teams before April 30 and teams design and program games that will be shared at the OGPC “Main Event” on May 10, 2014 at Chemeketa Community College in Salem, OR. (Resources and workshops are available for coaches for free.)
OGPC is produced by TAO Foundation (formerly the TechStart Education Foundation) a nonprofit promoting access to technology.
