Mark your calendars now for this annual event hosted by the Multnomah Youth Commission. The Youth Against Violence Committee is responsible for development of the summit based on the Youth Against Violence Action Plan. Named after community activist Rob Ingram, the summit asks youth to talk about and explore 7 forms of violence youth are likely to experience: Anti-Gay and Gender, Cyberbullying, Gang Violence, Police Violence, Home Violence, School and Bullying Violence, and Sexual and Dating Violence. Youth meet in the morning and invite adults to attend and hear the report-out in the afternoon. Registration for youth and adults (limited to afternoon) is required, admission is free.
